NASHVILLE, Tenn - NFIB Tennessee PAC announced its endorsement for state legislative general races to be held on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.
“NFIB is proud to endorse candidates who have demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting small businesses in Tennessee,” said Jim Brown, Tennessee state director, noting 29 of the 93 endorsed candidates are NFIB members. “These individuals either have a proven track record of standing up for small businesses or have shown they will promote a positive business environment for Tennessee’s job creators.”
"I am honored to have the support of NFIB Tennessee PAC," said Representative Keisling. "Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and now more than ever, they need our support. As a small business owner, I understand the many challenges one faces. I will always advocate for our small businesses and work to foster a more business-friendly environment here in Tennessee."
The NFIB Tennessee PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
Early voting begins Wednesday, Oct. 14, and ends Thursday, Oct. 29. Voting day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
