State Rep. Kelly Keisling Announces Tourism Enhancement Grant for Clay County

State Rep. Kelly Keisling (R-Byrdstown)

Representative Kelly Keisling (R-Byrdstown) announced today that a Tourism Enhancement Grant has been awarded in Clay County.   The City of Celina has been awarded $12,000 in funds to increase tourism into the downtown area by providing clear and attractive wayfinding signage.

“This is great news for Celina and I congratulate our local officials for successful grant application which I was proud to support,” said Sen. Pody.  “Without proper signage, many people are not aware of some of Celina’s wonderful assets. This grant from the state will help ensure that we get the signage that is needed. It is also part of an overall beautification effort for the city.”

Rep. Keisling said, “Clay County is one of the most beautiful places in the state and blessed with so many natural resources. These enhancements will undoubtedly improve Celina’s ability to attract visitors and create a positive economic impact. I thank our local leaders for their partnership and successful application for these funds.”
